On September 10, 2000, Pastor Arthur L. McGuire, Sr. stood before about 83 curious but expecting people in a private room at the Dayton Mall Holiday Inn to give his first message. Before the service was over, it was evident the call of God was on Pastor McGuire to build His people…the church. Today, Joshua Christian Ministries has grown by leaps and bounds.

Within one year after that first service, our multiracial, nondenominational ministry moved to its existing location (5800 Bigger Road, Kettering, OH) – a location that God has used mightly for His good works. We have grown to include more than 150 members, an active Youth Ministry, Outreach Ministry, Kingdom Women's Fellowship Ministry, Covenant Men of Promise Ministry, Christian Education classes, and much more to fulfill Joshua Christian Ministries’ God-given mission of: “Equipping the Believer with the knowledge of God’s Word and its application for purposeful living and practical service.”
